About the Job:
We currently have a great opportunity for an Interior Designer to join our team in our Collegeville, PA facility.
This position will be responsible to collaborate with Sales and other members of the Design Team to develop detailed construction documentation. Opportunities to grow and learn within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop construction documentation to include Architectural, Electrical and Reflected Ceiling Plans.
- Complete Architectural Sections, Elevations and Details including Millwork drawings.
- Coordinate and facilitate the integration of drawings from architects into Eye Designs AutoCAD Standards.
- Review contracts and drawings for changes upon return from clients; consulting with clients and/or Sr. Designer as necessary.
- Create efficient floor plans to optimize patient flow as needed.
- Additional responsibilities available based on experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in AutoCAD; AutoCAD Architectural preferred.
- Highly detail orientated individual with ability to multitask.
- Solid knowledge of construction documentation.
- Proven ability to space plan utilizing client programming.
- Follow Design Department standards for AutoCAD drawings.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. NCIDQ Preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Commercial Interior Design experience.
- Experience creating space plans and developing full set construction documents.
