Quality Assurance Associate
Job Summary: This is an individual contributor position which works under regular supervision and is responsible for reviewing construction documents before sending to production and making corrections or edits based on client specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: % of Time
- Review Millwork and construction drawings and check for accuracy; make corrections as necessary and communicate corrections to design team.
- Match Millwork drawings to 2D schematics. 80%
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to resolve project issues or delays within scope of authority assigned.
- Communicate with clients regarding desired changes to production documents; make required edits as required.
- Create 2D drawings of developed products for client review. 20%.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management .
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience working with AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing construction and millwork documents.
- Must be experienced producing 3D drawings.
- Prior experience working in millwork strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working in kitchen or bath design a plus.
- Prior experience with construction drawings a plus.
Special Requirements:
- Space planning skills a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficient with AutoCAD software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
- Superior Customer Service skills.
